“Competitive riding should be classical riding at its best”  Charles de Kunffy

Dee has been competing and teaching dressage for the past 35 years.   Before specializing in dressage she competed:  hunters and evented.  Dee’s husband, Rick, competes in carriage driving so she has also had an opportunity to be exposed to that sport.

Dee owes her riding; teaching and training skills to the wonderful men and women who taught her.  These fantastic people include:  Major Deszo Szilagyi; Captain Andy de Szinay; Franz Rochowansky; Major Jeremy Beale; Roel Theunissen; Shannon Dueck; Mikala Gundersen; Kathy Connelly; Larry Poulin; Henk Van Bergen; Arthur Kottas; Claes Bierenbroodspot.   The wealth of knowledge they all shared made it possible for Dee to develop as a rider and trainer.   Much is owed to all of these talented and generous horsemen/horsewomen.
